Bowen achieves record production in 1Q
Australian coal miner Bowen Coking Coal has achieved record production in its first financial quarter ended 30 September, 2023, Kallanish notes.
The group says in a statement that its run-of-mine (ROM) production stood at 640,000 tonnes in the first quarter of FY24, up 7.4% from the fourth quarter of FY23.
Meanwhile, total saleable coal production of 545,000t was up 17.1% on the previous quarter.
