Bowen upgrades Lenton deposit coal reserve
Australian coal miner Bowen Coking Coal has upgraded the coal reserve estimate for its Lenton coal deposit, part of the Burton Mine Complex near Moranbah, by 32% for run-of-mine (ROM) coal and 18% for marketable coal, Kallanish notes.
The firm says in a statement that the Lenton deposit total ROM coal reserve estimate now stands at 19 million tonnes, of which 13mt is classified as proved and 5.8mt as probable, at 6% total moisture.
