Brazilian prosecutor requests resumption of Samarco disaster lawsuit
The Brazilian State of Minas Gerais, the Public Prosecutor's Office (MPMG) and the Federal Attorney General's Office (MPF) have petitioned for the immediate resumption of the Samarco-Fundão dam public civil case.
The action was suspended in August 2018, after an agreement between federal, state authorities and the mining companies involved, Kallanish notes.
