Brazil’s automotive production weakens in January, outlook positive
Brazil’s automotive sector saw its performance retreat in January, Kallanish notes. All indicators fell compared with December.
According to the national automotive association Associação Nacional dos Fabricantes de Veículos Automotores (Anfavea), production decreased 11.1% month-on-month in January to 152,564 vehicles. Output was 0.1% less compared with a year earlier.
