Brazil's November pig iron production improves, exports drop

Brazilian pig iron output increased month-on-month in November and remained higher year-on-year. Export volumes fell sharply during the month, Kallanish notes. According to data issued by the local steelmakers’ association Instituto Aço Brasil (IAB), November pig iron output reached 2.23 million tonnes, up 5.9% m-o-m and 5.5% higher on-year.
