Chile’s CSH halts production indefinitely
Chilean long steel producer Compañía Siderúrgica Huachipato (CSH) will halt production indefinitely, Kallanish learns from the company.
The suspension process will be gradual, including all areas: coke production, blast furnace operation, steel manufacturing, continuous casting and rolling lines. CSH estimates that the closure process will be completed in approximately three months.
