Chinese construction steelmakers have published mixed offer prices for late January, each according to their local markets’ requirements for restocking. Major eastern steel companies cut their offers by CNY 200-300/tonnes ($31-47/t), while southern and central steelmakers announced slight increases in their prices, Kallanish notes.
