Chinese longs offers hold for late-August
China's construction steel ex-factory prices remained flat at the end of August, accompanied by a drop in market performance and weakening market confidence.
Shagang, Zenith and Yonggang all announced unchanged prices for long steel products in the last ten days of August. Zenith however provides CNY 120-180/t subsidies to agents, and Yonggang also announced CNY 190-270/t subsidies at the same time, Kallanish notes.
