Chinese long steel offers slump in mid-April

The rapid weakening of China's steel market has forced three construction steel producers in eastern China to sharply lower ex-factory prices to follow market trends. In the second ten days of April, Shagang announced it would cut CNY 100/tonne ($14.52/t) from rebar offers and CNY 150/t from wire rod and rebar in coil offers.
