Chinese major steelmakers lift April flats offers
As Chinese steel markets entered the traditional peak season, major steelmakers including Anshan Iron & Steel (Angang), Benxi Iron & Steel (Bengang) and Baosteel have raised their flat steel offers for April, Kallanish notes.
Angang and Bengang have lifted offers of all flat carbon steel products by CNY 200/tonne ($32/t), with prices of alloy products to be determined later. Baosteel made the same adjustment but raised some offers higher.
