Cleveland-Cliffs announces price increase on sheet products
Cleveland-Cliffs is raising prices on hot rolled coil, cold rolled coil and coated steel products by $50/short ton. The company is not accepting less than $750/st for hot rolled coil, Kallanish reports.
In the week of 29 November, the company announced that prices would go up by $60/st, effective immediately. That same week, sources said US Steel increased prices to $680-700/st for hot rolled coil and $950/st for cold rolled coil.
