Cleveland-Cliffs advances HBI plant project
Cleveland-Cliffs says it is making progress on construction of a hot briquetted iron (HBI) facility in Toledo, Ohio, but has no plans to build a second HBI plant at this time, Kallanish has learned.
According to Cleveland-Cliffs president Lourenco Goncalves, the company spent $104 million for the Toledo plant construction during the first quarter of this year.
