Coking coal tumbles on poor demand
Australian fob coking coal prices plunged during the week ended 3 November, due to poor demand.
Kallanish assessed premium hard coking coal at $333.97/tonne fob Australia, down $15.53/t from $349.50/t fob the previous week.
On the Singapore Exchange, Premium Coking Coal Futures for December settled at $316.33/t fob on Friday. This was versus the November settlement price of $336/t fob a week earlier.
