Coking coal rebounds on tight supply
Australian fob coking coal prices rebounded during the first week of 2024 as tight supply remains a concern.
Kallanish assessed premium hard coking coal at $328.53/tonne fob Australia, up $11.85/t from $316.68/t fob the previous week.
On the Singapore Exchange, Premium Coking Coal Futures for February settled at $324.75/t fob on Friday. This was versus the January settlement price of $323/t fob a week earlier.
