CONSOL to develop new metallurgical coal mine
CONSOL Energy of Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, will begin developing a new low-volme metallurgical coal mining operation in Wyoming County, West Virginia, Kallanish reports.
According to a press release from the company, the Itmann Mine project is expected to produce approximately 600,000 short tons/year of high-quality, low-vol coking coal. The anticipated life of the mine will exceed 25 years.
