Construction employment down in three-fourths of US states
US construction employment remains below pre-pandemic levels in three-fourths of the 50 US states, despite 36 states and Washington D.C. adding construction jobs in October, Kallanish reports.
According to an analysis of labour statistics data by the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), construction employment was lower in 37 US states during the month of October than during February, the last month before the Covid-19 pandemic.
