Correction: Bastug Metallurgy acquisition talks
In a report published in its 28 March newsletter, Kallanish incorrectly suggested that Russian steelmaker Novorosmetall is in talks to acquire Turkish producer Bastug Metallurgy.
Novorosmetall is not directly involved in the deal. The acquisition is being negotiated by a Turkish investor who has links with the Russian firm.
Bastug plans to issue an official statement next week.
