Costlier production lifts Turkish pipe quotes
Turkish pipe producers have increased their quotes slightly this week, after the 37.2% rise seen in natural gas prices at the end of September.
Pipemakers’ offers for electric resistance welded (ERW) pipe made from S235-grade hot rolled coil were seen on Thursday mostly at $710-735/tonne fob Turkey theoretical weight, up from $705-725/t a week earlier.
Although demand remains weak, higher production costs have caused pipe producers to increase their prices.…
