Demand outlook remains positive for Insteel Industries
Rising steel prices, combined with strong demand from the domestic non-residential construction industry, have boosted US wire rod manufacturer Insteel Industries' first quarter revenue by nearly 50% on-year, leading towards an optimistic short-range outlook for the company.
In the company's first quarter ending 1 January, Kallanish understands that Insteel's earnings rose by over 180% on-year to $23.1 million on sales of $178.5m (see related story).
