Egyptian mills increase November-delivery domestic rebar prices
Major Egyptian mills have increased their rebar quotes by nearly 10-12% on October, effective 1 November, on the back of the depreciation of the pound against foreign currencies. Despite declining sea freight and raw materials prices, the pound depreciation has compelled mills to finetune their rebar quotes, Kallanish notes.
Since mid-August, rebar prices in Egypt have not moved.
