Energy costs hike northern European wire rod prices
Northern European wire rod prices have increased this week, amid new demand, due to higher energy costs, most market participants say.
“Prices are expected to climb further due to the rising energy costs, which continue to have an impact on production in the region," a buyer from the Netherlands confirms to Kallanish. “Demand for wire rod is still very good this week.”
