Fire singes Universal's third-quarter earnings
Universal Stainless & Alloy Products witnessed a downturn in its third-quarter sales and profits, primarily due to a fire that occurred at its North Jackson, Ohio, forge in June, Kallanish reports.
Universal earned $800,000 in Q3 on sales of $56.6 million, down from income of $3.9m on sales of $69.1m in Q3 2018.
