French stainless scrap prices increase on shortage

Stainless steel scrap prices in France and Belgium are increasing by approximately €30-40/tonne ($31-42) month-on-month, driven mainly by a shortage. As was the case last month, however, buying continues to be dragged down by weak finished product sales, particularly for long products.
