Gerdau distribution centres start using renewable energy
Brazilian steelmaker Gerdau says nine of its supply centres has commenced operating with renewable energy. The company aims to reduce CO2 emissions by 44% per year at the Comercial Gerdau (CG) unit while lowering annual costs by around 10%.
