German rebar market remains dead quiet
Germany’s rebar market will not wake up from the summer lull for a while, it seems. Prices have moved little from the level they have sunk to in June, but the general assumption is that further noteworthy drops are unlikely, save for some concessions in deals here and there.
Big buyers still see the base price of domestic mills between €750-800/tonne ($749-799/t), which plus the size extra of €265/t translates to €1,015-1,065/t.
