Grupo Villacero grants financial support to Ahmsa
Altos Hornos de México (Ahmsa) has secured financing from Mexican long products processor and steel distributor Villacero, Kallanish notes. The partnership agreement was sealed by the presidents of both companies, Alonso Ancira Elizondo and Julio Villarreal, in San Antonio, Texas.
The amount of the financial support was not disclosed. The move is meant to ensure the quick recovery of the steelmaker.
