Hoa Phat blows in first Dung Quat furnace
Vietnam’s Hoa Phat Group blew in the first 1 million tonnes/year blast furnace at its new Dung Quat steelworks on 5 July. The furnace is the first at the 4m t/y project, and makes Hoa Phat only the second integrated HRC producer in the country, Kallanish notes.
