Hoa Phat readies Australia mine iron ore shipments
Vietnam’s biggest steelmaker, Hoa Phat, is getting ready to import iron ore from its new mine in Australia’s Northern Territory (NT), Kallanish learns.
Hoa Phat acquired the Roper Valley iron ore project in NT last year, and has started trucking ore from there to Darwin Port for export, more than 500km away.
