US sheet increase has yet to yield results
Nucor and Cleveland-Cliffs recently increased prices on steel products, as previously reported by Kallanish.
Nucor increased the prices on hot rolled coil by $50/short ton and Cleveland-Cliffs raised prices by $75/st. On 25 August, a mill source told Kallanish that the increases wouldn’t drive any decision his mill would make on pricing, but might spur demand.
