US sheet prices continue steady climb on-week
US hot rolled coil prices are up this week while buyers gradually accept at least a portion of the recent domestic mill price hikes, Kallanish reports.
HRC pricing has increased to $820-830/short ton in the spot market, up from the week before when the range was $800-820/st. US cold rolled coil prices have strengthened to $1,200-1,230/st from $1,190-1,230/st.
A mill source says the trajectory for steel sheet will continue.
