Indian imported scrap offers jump amid local shortage
Indian mills are turning to imported scrap to satisfy their feedstock requirements amid a local scrap shortage. This has led to a jump in imported scrap prices, although sources believe it to be a short-term effect and expect the market to cool down starting next week, Kallanish notes.
