Iranian longs see volatility, Iraq stable
The Iranian riyal has depreciated further, to another record low of 305,000 per dollar, from last week’s 295,000 per dollar. Despite the devaluation, 12-32mm A3 rebar in the domestic market is quoted by wholesalers at IRR 150,458,715/tonne ($493) ex-works, excluding 9% VAT. This price is set by the Iranian Mercantile Exchange (IME), Kallanish notes.
