Iran’s steel consumption decreases despite growing output

In the first quarter of the Iranian calendar – April-June 2021 – Iranian apparent finished steel consumption decreased by 2% on-year and semi-finished steel by 1%, but direct reduced iron output grew by 4%, Kallanish notes.
