Monthly iron, steel freight volumes increase in Canada
Monthly freight loadings of primary and semi-finished iron and steel products surged in December, Kallanish learns from Statistics Canada.
The volume of primary and semi-finished iron and steel products shipped by freight increased by 25.3% month-on-month, from 350,006 tonnes to 438,584t. The report shows an 16.7% year-on-year increase.
