Iron ore rebounds after slump
Seaborne iron ore prices recovered slightly on Tuesday after Monday's plunge.
The Kallanish KORE 62% Fe index and the KORE 65% Fe index rebounded by $1.97/t and $2.37/t respectively on Tuesday to $111/dry metric tonne cfr Qingdao and $123.15/dmt cfr. The KORE 58% Fe index rose $1.16/t to $95.98/dmt cfr. Sources report that 90,000t of Mac Fines were sold at $106.5/t with laycans of 1-10 April.
