Italian pig iron prices fall in weak market
Italian pig iron prices are losing around $10/tonne compared to April in a very slow market, sources tell Kallanish.
Offers to Italy from Russia and Ukraine are now at $360/t cif for smaller orders and $5/t less for larger orders. This price decline is in line with lower international scrap prices.
