Italian plate demand improves, prices increase
Italian plate producers are increasing prices by €50/tonne ($49.9) compared to last week due to hiking energy rates that are taking a toll on margins. A further €50/t increment may be implemented later in September, depending on energy costs and demand, Kallanish learns from market participants.
