Japan's Kanto monthly export tender nudges slightly higher
The Kanto Tetsugen monthly export tender settled slightly higher on Wednesday, Kallanish notes.
In the latest tender, which opened on 9 August, Toyota Tsusho Material was awarded 15,000 tonnes of Japanese H2 grade scrap at JPY 49,799/tonne ($348/t) fas. This is JPY 59/t higher than the association’s last tender on 11 July. A total of 15 companies participated in the latest tender and collectively bid for 105,250t.
