JSW-MG joint venture targets 1 million EV sales
Indian conglomerate JSW Group and MG Motor India plan to sell 1 million passenger electric vehicles (NEVs) by 2030, through their automotive joint venture in India, Kallanish reports.
The partnership, first announced last November in London, will focus mainly on NEVs, but it will also include internal combustion engine models. In an event in Mumbai this week, the companies revealed plans to control 33% of the Indian NEV market by 2030.
