JSW raises coke, reduces coal sales in Q4
Jastrzebska Spolka Weglowa (JSW) saw external coking coal sales drop 9% on-year in the fourth quarter of 2023 to 1.46 million tonnes, but coke sales inched up 5% to 790,000t, according to preliminary figures.
The Polish miner reported a 3% decline in coking coal production in Q4 to 2.69mt, while coke output surged 28% to 870,000t, Kallanish notes.
