Kametstal increases efficiency with convertor overhaul
Metinvest’s Kametstal steelworks is carrying out large-scale repairs of converter No.1, the company says.
During the repairs, a number of the largest mechanical components of the unit will be revised and replaced, and the refractory lining will be restored. The work is aimed at extending the service life and improving the reliability of the equipment, the enterprise claims.
