AMKR reduces costs, saves energy with BF upgrade
ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMKR) has completed the extended repairs at blast furnace No.6, which lasted 296 days and took place under difficult military conditions amid the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Kallanish notes.
The completed work will increase the reliability of the furnace equipment, reduce operating costs, save energy, and will also help reduce the industrial load on the environment, the enterprise claims.
