Kardemir’s lower longs prices find no takers
Kardemir published a new price list and opened sales for rebar and wire rod on Tuesday, Kallanish notes.
Rebar in diameters of 12-32mm and 36-40mm was each decreased by TRY 160/tonne ($8.5/t) to TRY 11,740/t ($631/t) and TRY 11,830/t ($636/t) respectively, versus Kardemir’s previous list on 2 November.
Prices for 5.5-56mm diameter wire rod have decreased by $25/t to $630-695/t, from Kardemir's previous list on 2 November.
