Krakatau Steel reports losses in Q3
Indonesian steel maker Krakatau Steel remained in the red in the third quarter ended 30 September, 2023, posting a loss of $59.38 million, Kallanish notes.
The firm says in a statement that the losses were due to its financial burden and foreign exchange losses. The firm made a profit of $82.17m a year ago.
Meanwhile, the group's revenue for the quarter fell to $1.26 billion from $1.84 billion a year earlier.
