Latin American exports to US rise in March
Latin American steel exports to the US rose month-on-month in March. These were also higher compared to a year earlier when the western hemisphere was impacted by the second wave of Covid-19, Kallanish notes. Latin America in this context includes South and Central American countries together with Mexico.
According to preliminary data issued by the US Census Bureau, exports to the US from Latin America were 27.6% more on-month at 846,988 tonnes in March.…
