Liberty Steel acquires Johnstown Wire Technologies
Liberty Steel - part of UK-based GFG Alliance - has acquired wire producer Johnstown Wire Technologies (JWT) in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Kallanish reports.
A press release from Liberty says the acquisition of JWT will complement the company’s US melting and rolling operations and its scrap processing plant. Financial details of the transaction were not made available.
