Liberty Steel UK to face new court battle
This week, Citibank has been granted permission by a UK court to proceed with a winding-up claim against three GFG Alliance Companies, part of Liberty Steel UK operations.
The bank started a legal battle with Liberty Commodities, Speciality Steel UK and Liberty MDR Treasury Company last year to recover over $200 million that it claimed was owed. A UK judge confirmed that a winding-up order can proceed against the companies.
