Low demand reduces German scrap prices
German scrap prices have fallen significantly for a second month in June due to lower demand and weak exports, according to German scrap market participants. Most sources continue to expect values to fall further because of the uncertainty gripping the market.
Prices in most parts of Germany have decreased this month by €80-85/tonne ($83-88/t), a buyer tells Kallanish.
