Major Chinese steelmakers hike September flats offers
Major Chinese flat steel producers Baosteel, Anshan Iron & Steel (Angang) and Benxi Iron & Steel (Bengang) have slowly hiked list prices for September sales, Kallanish notes.
Angang has maintained quotations for coated steel, medium and thick plate. For all other flat steel products, the company decided to increase prices by CNY 100/tonne ($13.8/t). The increase equals the previous adjustment for most products.
