Malaysia’s average steel price inches higher
The average price per unit of steel in Malaysia recorded a slight increase of 0.1% in March as compared to the previous month, Kallanish notes.
The Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM) says in a statement that the March steel average price, consisting of mild steel round bars and Mycon 60 high tensile deformed bars, was MYR 3,683.51/tonne ($776.83/t), up from MYR 3,679.54/t in February.
